Privacy
Your information, handled with care
Heartstrings exists to protect children and the people who care for them. We treat the information you share with the same seriousness.
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us. When you contact us, refer a child, volunteer, or give, we collect details like your name, email, and what you enter on the form. We don't track you around the web for advertising.
How we use it
To respond to you, coordinate programs and referrals, and keep you updated if you ask us to. That's it.
We don't sell your information
We never sell or rent your information. Donors are private by default. We don't publish gift amounts next to anyone's name, and we only recognize donors who opt in.
Children's privacy
Referrals involve children, and they come from trusted adults: counselors, caseworkers, foster families, and the like. We handle a child's information carefully and share it only with the people coordinating that child's care.
Keeping it secure
We limit who can see what you share and store it carefully. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.
